Only compatible with Sega Dreamcast consoles equipped with a VA1 motherboard. Do not install KatanaDrive on incompatible motherboard versions, as this may damage the console or KatanaDrive.

1. The Dreamcast boots to the original menu instead of OpenMenu or GDMenu.

- Make sure your SD card is genuine. Counterfeit SD cards, including fake SanDisk, Kingston, and Samsung cards, may cause compatibility problems.
2. The console does not boot at all, including the original menu.
This may be caused by a poor connection between the Dreamcast and KatanaDrive.
- Power off the console.
- Remove and reinstall KatanaDrive.
- Make sure the connector is properly aligned and firmly connected to the console.
A faulty or unstable PSU may also cause boot problems. If possible, try using the original Dreamcast PSU.
3. The console returns to the original menu when loading a game or switching discs.
- Check that the SD card has been prepared correctly.
- The ROM file may be corrupted. Try using a different ROM file.
