It’s ok. With some hassle it can be serviceable. SATA connection with hdd seems a little loose. Highly recommend a compatible hdd tray/holder to maintain tight connection, or a thin piece of cardboard to support hdd to minimize straining the SATA connection. It struggles to maintain stable audio and video and may crash/freeze for my exfat hdd using recent opl 1.2 beta, especially dual layer dvd games (even after ensuring iso files were pure bit for bit copy and unfragmented) or games with high end fmv graphics that push ps2 to its limits. In the end, it worked after much trial and error with opl options to optimize settings for high demand games and minimize chance of freezing. May perform better with other situations like APA formatted hdd. Or a second-hand official Sony adapter would be better for the certain games I struggled to keep running.
